This is amazing grace of God that we have 20+ volunteers in English Fellowship Website Editing & Technical group now, while 2 months ago there were only a few serving in the group.
Claire who has been humbly serving for more than 1.5 years suggested recruiting volunteers. Then we for the very first time made the announcement in the English service on May 29 this year. Just on that day, Cathy preached(Title: The Living Water):
"If you want you spiritual grows, you have to serve, - Join the small ministries, join the small groups, and study with them by serving and studying with groups, then your spirituality will grow. If you find there is no place for you to serve, you create one; and you need to keep asking “how can I serve? I want to serve. ” It is only through serving, you find your commitment to the church and to this united fellowship, to this community. And then the living water will run in your heart and coming out from you, from within your heart endlessly. "
When we heard this, we smiled to each other and said: "This is from our Lord".
Sister Linda once was moved to tears during the worship. Our volunteer Claire gave her handkerchief and asked whether she would like to be a volunteer to serve our Lord Jesus Christ? The answer was "Yes", and Linda thought it was a calling from God through Claire. Praise the Lord!
Sister Stefanie once was studying in a Bible Study Group at the 1st Basement，Haidian New Tech. Mansion. Sister Katherine "jumped" to the desk she was studying at with her group and asked: "Anyone wants to be a volunteer for the Sermon Transcription?” Stefanie: "Yes, I do, I am a translator. I am just searching for a chance to serve!" It seemed a little bit rush, but it’s our God who sent us sit table by table. Praise the Lord!
Sister Jane recorded videos of the Choir and sermon with her mobile phone because she wanted to share the Gospel later with her friends. She was quite excited when she knew that we have had all those video & audio resources ready for downloading each week since November in 2009. And the answer to the question "if you are called to the service" was absolutely a "Yes". Praise the Lord!
Sister YuYu is a International Pastor and a interpreter for Sunday service in an America Church, Thanks God for touching her heart so that she can be the light and salt and serve here in Churches in China.
Brother Ray and sister Apple, a couple in Jesus' love, are in the same Bible study group with sister Amy. They joined us immediately after they were aware of the call. May Lord bless their marriage and serving here. They also remind me of an example of a volunteer in Pastor Wu's sermon on Apr 10(Title: To Whom Will You Compare Me):
"If you ever were a volunteer in Haidian Church, you would be married soon. That was a girl's experience. If you volunteer here, you will be blessed to get a marriage. “What a wonderful promise from God to the single brother and sister!
Sister Xue, a volunteer in host team, is good at Video-editing. She asked our pastor whether she can serve. Bingo! As you know, we got the new larger LED screen and the Picture-in-Picture window using during the English Choir's worship, so that we can have not only sermon video but also worship songs video for downloading and in this way to spread our Jesus' love to more people.
Sister Shirley is serving in the Worship team. I asked pastor He whether we could invite a member from English Choir to our meeting so that in future we can have a better cooperation when making the video for the worship team. Shirley was called and willing to join us. She took notes during the service and is a fast-writer. See? God has prepared for everything!
As to our team building, thanks sister Ann for helping us interview each new comer on faith and let them join us smoothly. And some even started to serve right after the interview. Praise the Lord!
Jesus guide each one of us and there are too many stories to write down. Welcome to share your story in Lord Jesus here with us!
Our God is almighty God and all praises to Him!!

|Verse 1||Amazing grace,
how sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now I'm found,
was blind but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught
my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear,
the hour I first believed.
|Verse 2||The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures,
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
|Chorus||My chains are gone, I've been set free,
My God, my Savior, Has ransomed me,
And like a flood, His mercy reigns,
