Bible Verses: (John 14: 15-17)  Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command.
16  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever --17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him.But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

This Sunday’s message was about God wants us Christians to live out our Faith, and keep His commandments. We are being watched and observed by people around us. If we proclaim that we are Christians to them, and we keep on telling people about God, His laws and regulations, but without proper deeds, we may leave the impression to them that Christianity were just about doctrines or just like one kind of religions; if we claim to others we are the followers of Christ, but pray for ourselves only for personal gains, we may be seen as selfish Christians; or, we rigorously tell people around us how Jesus died for all, how He saved us, but still we may leave the empty impressions that we are like salespeople selling insurance to people.

Sometimes temptations come, for example, our remaining bad habits and repeated mistakes distance us from God, but we’ve got the greatest help, the Holy Spirit communicates for us, it teaches us, reminds us, to learn from Jesus. The Holy Spirit changes us from inside out, from old flesh into new being, we have become the ambassadors for Jesus Christ on earth.

But sometimes in trials or other worse situations, should we repeatedly make the same serious mistakes deliberately? As some might think we can always pray for God’s forgiveness, no problem. That's not right.  Jesus has set us good examples: He washed His disciple’s feet, He taught us the Beatitudes… In Matthew 5:13-16, it says we are the Salt and Light of the world, Salt has the function of purification from corruption; and Light is to lead the way for people to see. Always read and reflect on God’s Word, for we have been given new lives, we should carefully live out the new lives according to the Word form God. In the process of serving God and others, we learn and benefit more in God's wisdom.

God wants us to live out our Faith through consistent actions & deeds, words and hearts. Let us fully obey and follow the commandments of Jesus Christ, then our beautiful acts will touch people, and by that love people will surely know that we are Christians.
