Bible Verse1 Peter 2:9

9   But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Happy Father’s day!  Thank God for His loving kindness and guidance, today speaker Cinia's message is about what is the church. Is the church a building or all the church believers? The answer is all the church believers. All brothers and sisters in Jesus made up for the church.

Here is a question: should we get involved in church works or are we committed to them? Let me give you an interesting example: a chicken and a pig had a conversation one day, they were talking about which one is greater for people’s diet. The chicken said she was greater, for she produced lots of eggs for people to eat, but the pig said, “no, that’s not enough, I commit my whole body for people to eat.”  Brothers and sisters, that joke was not real but intersting. Each one of us should actively participate and do our best for the church works, everyone is unique, has got a gift from God, together we are as one in Jesus.

Here is another example: a sugar cube stands on a coffee cup saucer, and it's complaining, “The coffee is so bitter, I don’t want to jump in.”  And then the coffee said, “You are only partly right, that’s why we need you to make us tastes perfect, you should be part of us, together we are a  sweet cup of coffee.”

I remember my wedding day when I got married, I wore the most beautiful dresses in my life for my groom, and my groom looked at me the day as I was the most precious thing in his life!  That’s the same as the love between Christ and the church.  Jesus loved the church so dearly that he gave His life for us. We love Jesus too, and if we have the mind of Christ, we will love all the brothers and sisters, and we will fully participate & commit ourselves to His Call.  Praise God.
